Project 1.
Why do we exist? / Visual Study of The World of High Energy Physics

Since 2005, Satoru Yoshioka has been visiting to high energy physics laboratories. In 2006 he started photographing from SLAC / Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (now SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory) in California.

In 2007, *Mr. Neil Calder / a chief spokesman at SLAC introduced him to CERN / European Organization for Nuclear Research (Swiss). Over several years, he photographed high energy physics laboratories in the United States, Japan and Europe as the visual study of the world of high energy physics project.

Project 2.
Why does the universe exist in our body? / Visual Study of The World of the Beauty in the Brain

Since 2013, Satoru Yoshioka has been working with OIST / Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University in Okinawa Japan. He works with the research units of Neurosciences. Especially he collaborates with Ms. Hermina Nedelescu of the OIST Brain Mechanism for Behaviour Unit.

In this project, he is looking for the ultimate beauty in the Brain from the view point of a photographer, not from the view point of a scientist.
